问:Should teachers be funny when they teach?
I think it depends on the specific situation. Which means that different classes with different atmosphere shouldhave different ways to teach. If the students in the class are particularly studious and serious, then the process ofteaching can be relaxing and pleasant. The teacher can be funny to interact with the students, while if the studentsin the class are naughty, disgusted with learning, and not obedient, then if the teacher is still funny, some studentsmay further disturb the order in the classroom, which will affect the whole process of teaching
问:What qualities should teachers have?
First of all, teachers should have excellent professional knowledge, so that they can complete the basic teachingtasks and teach correct and appropriate knowledge to students. Secondly, teachers should have enough patience,and they should treat different students in accordance with their aptitude, patiently guide students and helpstudents solve problems; third, teachers should have a correct outlook on values, and set a good example forchildren. In short, the teacher plays a great role in the growth of children, they are the example of children, soteachers are supposed to have a lot of excellent qualities.

First, As students are too young to be emotionally strong or have a proper value on everything and they spend mostof their time with teachers, a teacher can have great influence on his/her students. In my opinion, both of them are important. Practical skills and academic skills are like two sides of a coin----youcan’t neglect any of them. 问:Which age group is the best at learning new things?
From a physiological point of view, a person from birth to puberty is the fastest period of brain weight increase, butalso the fastest period of intellectual development. The brain weight of two-year-old children has reached the levelof normal people, and the intellectual development of 17-year-old children has matured. Therefore, it is mostappropriate to educate young people to learn new knowledge and skills during this period of time. 雅思听力多选题怎么解?
那么多选题究竟有什么特征呢?如何解决这类题目呢?
首先,按题目要求,我们可以将多选题分成5选2和7选3两类,5选2是现在最常考的类型,7选3较少,与此同时,考试中还出现过7选2和6选3等类型。
接着我们来看几道多选题,来探讨一下多选题的解题思路。
题干有限定条件
e.g. 1:Which TWO facilities does the theatre currently offer to the public?(11-2-2 Questions 13 and 14)
A. rooms for hire
B. backstage tours
C. hire of customes
D. a bookshop
E. a café
听完这道题,很多听力成绩在6分左右的同学内心缓缓地打出了一个问号,并且产生了如下心路历程:为什么我所有的选项都听到了,我也差不多听懂了,可这道题到底是要我选什么?我很迷。好吧,我就选俩我听得(或记得)最清楚的选项吧!
其实在这道多选题中,选项并没有发生同义替换、均原词重现了,而大家没有做出来这道题的主要原因是没有抓住考察重点,没有发现考官给大家的线索——currently。我们再来看一道出现在同一套练习中的题目:
e.g. 2:Which TWO workshops does the theatre currently offer?(11-2-2 Questions 15 and 16)
大家注意到了吗?currently 再次出现了。
研究一下答案就会发现,在这两道题的 10 个选项中,正确答案通常是和现在时联系在了一起,例如:now, we’re running them every month, we’ve already started, we have… 而所有的干扰答案都和将来时联系在了一起,如:next month, we are considering, we are looking into the possibility, we’re going to start… next month, we intend to…, we’re considering for the future。
显然,考官通过设置一个 currently 来暗示了出题的方向:时态考察。因此,同学们如果再见到多选题的题干中出现了currently,就可以大胆去听时间状语或时态,来选出正确答案或排除错误答案了。此外,大家也可以积累一下常见的时态限定词:currently,at present,now,at the moment,recently,originally。
我们还可以再来看几道考察时态的多选题:
e.g. 3:Which TWO facilities at the leisure club have recently been improved?(10-1-2)
e.g. 4:Which TWO topics did Joanna originally intend to investigate in her research?(11-4-3)
当然,除了时态限定词,多选题中还会出现地点限定、趋势限定等,我们也可以一起来看几道题:
e.g. 5:Which TWO problems affecting organisms in the splash zone are mentioned?(11-2-3)【地点限定】
e.g. 6:Which TWO age groups are taking increasing numbers of holidays with BC Travel?(12-7-2)【趋势限定】
e.g. 7:Which TWO skills did Laura improve as a result of her work placement? (10-4-3)【趋势限定】
在这一类有限定条件的真题中,考官针对限定条件展开了考察,设定了与限定条件相矛盾的干扰答案或陷阱。因此,面对这一类的多选题时,烤鸭们要努力发现考官留下的线索,并积极进行横向思维,所谓的横向思维指的是:当卷子上写了 currently 主动联想将来时、过去时的表述方式,并且避开这些陷阱;当卷子上写到了increase 主动避开考官设置的“下降、不变”的陷阱。
题干限定条件
雅思听力的出题点变化多端,因此,除了上述提及的有限定条件的多选题,在Section 3中我们经常会碰到没有任何限定条件的题目,如:

这类题目长得非常“质朴”,找不到可以划限定条件的地方。因此需要大家努力听到同义替换定位选项,选出正确选项或排除错误选项。
排除错误选项的方法主要有两种,
种是确定选项和音频内容是否一致;
第二种是注意选项出现时,是否有否定词出没。
以 11-2-3 为例,正确答案 CE,错误选项常出现与音频截然相反的描述,A 选项音频提及 habitat, ok(与 inaccurate 矛盾), B 选项谈及 observation, reliable (与influence矛盾), D选项sample, big(与small矛盾)。
以 8-4-3 为例,正确答案 BE,错误选项附近有否定词,A 选项 government funding, eligible, but I was mistaken。C 选项 college grant 出现后马上说,I decided to leave themuntil I was desperate, and in fact I didn’t need to apply。D 选项 local council, turn me down(拒绝)。
另外,无限定条件的多选题常常还伴随着非常不友好的“长选项”,这时候就需要大家划准关键词,尽量以细节名词为主。
当然,烤鸭们需要做好准备,多选题和单选题一样:几乎所有的选项均被提及,且选项乱序出现。同时,当选项句子较长时,对大家提取关键词的能力、反应速度均有较高要求。
最后,希望大家在练习过程中能准确找出问题中的限定条件(时态、地点、趋势),没有限定条件的题目,做好准备要辨析选项、听否定词。面对多选题再不心慌气短。
